3 Easy Steps to Work on Your Thighs
Your thigh is an important part when you talk of well-defined legs. Perhaps you spotted a new skinny jeans and you wanted to buy it but you just feel dismayed knowing that your thighs would not fit into those jeans, or better else, those jeans would not fit your thighs. If you want to look fabulous with your jeans, perhaps you should start trimming those thigh muscles and give them definition so you can wear your jeans with confidence.
Your thigh muscles consist of muscles which include the adductor longus, the abductor brevis, the gracilis muscles, and the sartorius. The thigh muscles are so important for locomotion since these muscles facilitates the movements of the hips, the extensions, as well as the abductions. Here are 3 easy steps to work on your thighs.
1. Walking on an incline - First and basic of all is walking on an incline. To perform the routine, you simply walk at different rates --you can go fast, moderate or slow but for sure, just by practical walking exercise you get to burn fats and develop your thigh as well as butt muscles. The routine can be performed by walking on a hill or by walking on a treadmill for roughly fifteen (15) to twenty (2) minutes. Make sure that the incline is at least ten (10) to fifteen (15) degrees. If you want to add more challenge to the routine, just take out some weights and carry it with you while you do the routine.
2. The leg extensions - The routine is usually done with the use of an extension machine or weight bench to which a leg extension is attached. You first position yourself in a sitting position on the machine, lay back flat against the machine's seat, and hook your shins behind the lifting pad. Start to lift the weights upward with the power of your thigh as you press against the pad until your legs are in a straight position but not in a locked position. Then from that position, hold it there for seconds and then start lowering it again to the start position.
3. The squats - The squats can be performed in various ways, it can be done with the use of a barbell, or you can do it with a dumbbell or a squat machine perhaps. The start position should be that you are in a standing position with the barbell in a resting position at the back of the head on your shoulders. Keep your back straight as you slowly bend your knees at 90-degree angle with the floor. Upon reaching the 90-degree angle, hold it there for seconds and then power back to the start position. To avoid injuries, do not try to dip too low or forget to unlock the legs at the top of the lift. The level of difficulty can be changed by simply changing the length just in between your feet.
You may opt to use the three routines by starting to walk on an incline or you can walk on an incline and one of the other routines mentioned.

Red Wing Boots: Wearing Them With Jeans
Red Wing shoes can be worn with jeans, in fact it is actively encouraged! Boot-cut style jeans look the best as their slightly flared bottoms give plenty of space to comfortably fit over the shoes and allow them to naturally show off their shape and form.
Generally speaking, you should avoid skinny-fit and slim-cut style jeans when you wear Red Wing shoes. Skinny jeans are designed to fit straight to your skin, giving no room for your boots or to move around in. One exception to this rule, is if you're going for an alpine-punk look, in which case distressed skinnies would look great with your Red Wing shoes. If you have a pear shape body, or if your legs are a little chubby, you can wear slouchy or baggy jeans. Pear shaped and larger people should generally try to avoid skinny and tight jeans as they fit to your legs very tightly and so it's a very unflattering look for them. If you're in doubt, leave them out!
As mentioned at the beginning of this article, the best look comes from boot cut jeans as they have a slight flare at the bottom which allows even the largest models of Red Wing boots to fit snugly underneath. However, if you do not like boot cuts or feel that the weather is too hot or otherwise unsuitable for them, there are a couple of other options. Firstly, you can wear cropped jeans or pants - these are jeans that are designed so that they stop above your feet, often just three quarters of the way down your leg. When paired with Red Wing shoes, these will appear to stop just above where your shoe begins, giving a very natural looking transition from pants to shoes.
The second way of getting around the boot-cut jeans problem is to roll the bottoms up. This can be done on any style except for the tightest styles of jeans and pants, but is especially good on straight-cut jeans as they give an even roll-up. If your jeans are a raw denim style, dark color or feature a very distinctive or dominant selvage, it is already very on-trend and fashionable to wear your jeans with roll-ups. The best roll-ups are those about 3-4 inches in height, and sit just on the peak or slightly below the top of the shoe. If you are wearing Red Wing boots rather than shoes, take take to overlap a few inches of the boots as otherwise you will look unbalanced and disproportionate. If you're wearing Red Wing shoes, feel free to wear the jeans rolled up so that they are sitting just above the top of the shoe.
If you're wearing your Red Wing shoes in a casual way, be sure to accessorize correctly. Try to wear a belt that matches the shade of your boots or shoes. They need not be an exact match, but avoid mistakes like wearing a green belt with a mahogany colored shoe. If the weather demands it, do not forget to match up your outfit with a hat and scarf. If you are not sure what color your hat and scarves should be, try this to begin with. Match your scarf with your belt - the more exact the match the better. For the hat, you'll need a similar (but not identical) color and a similar 'spirit'. Extravagant scarves require extravagant hats. Do not match a 3-tone, goose feather, body-curler scarf with a blue and red baseball cap. Keep things simple to start with too. Once we you gain a little confidence you can start experimenting with different colors and styles. If you insist on wearing gloves, try to get those that match with the belt and scarf.

First, I'd like to congratulate you on the birth of your baby. Now however, it's time for me to show you how to get skinny.
Rule #1: Move around more
Yeah, it's boring when said like that. But do this. Get a mini-trampoline ($25 at Wal-Mart) and jump on it for 2 minutes at a time. If you watch tv, do it during commercials. Did you know each 1 hour tv show has about 22 minutes of commercials. So there's 22 minutes of working out without making you more busy or forcing you to block out 30-60 minutes to workout. You get 2 things done at once. Make it three... you also get skinny.
Rule #2: Eat more meals, just smaller meals
This helps speed up your metabolism while making your digestive system way more efficient in pulling out important nutrients for you and expelling the useless wastes. Like the rule above, it accomplishes 2 things at once. It'll also cut down on your cravings since you won't have fluctuating blood sugar levels due to big meals.
Rule #3: Eat a big breakfast
Oh, wait... didn't I just say to eat small meals above? Yes I did. And you can still eat a small breakfast if you want, but if you're to eat a big meal, make sure it's at breakfast time so you have time to burn off all the calories later in the day.
Also, by having your big meal in the morning, you're "front loading" your calories. This helps you to eat less and snack less later in the day. The best choice for breakfast would be 3-4 scrambled eggs with 1/2 a can of black beans.
It's high in fiber and protein... which is exactly what you need for breakfast.
Rule #4: Snack strategically
With my clients, I've found that their snacking seems to hurt their weight loss efforts more than their meals. So let's take care of this right now for you as well. For snacks, I want you to eat only the following foods... low calorie yogurt, baby food puree, apples, grapefruit, 10 black olives, a slice of cheese wrapped around a dill pickle, string cheese, or red grapes. That's it!
