Plus Size Women's Jeans
It's pretty obvious that jeans look great on skinny women. If you wear a size 0, 2 or 4, almost any pair of jeans will look great on you. If you're a bit bigger, maybe size 8 or 10, you should probably stay away from some types of women's jeans, such as skin tight jeans and skinny jeans, but for the most part, you are going to look curvy and sexy in a pair of jeans that fit well.
But what if you're even bigger? What if you're a plus size woman? Can you still wear jeans?
Of course you can. Being a bigger woman doesn't mean you should give up the ease and convenience of wearing denim.
However, there are a few tips you should follow if you want to look good in your plus size women's jeans:
1. Don't wear baggy jeans. While you may feel "safer" in baggy jeans, because they hide your figure, wearing baggy jeans will only make you look bigger. It's just like wearing a tent dress - those may look cute on twiggy-like girls, but if you're bigger, they make you look huge! Don't be afraid to buy jeans that are form fitting and hug your body. Those are the most flattering.
2. Choose a dark wash. A light wash is tricky - it can visually add inches even to skinny women. But a dark wash creates an illusion of being thinner than you really are. Black jeans are great, as are dark blue jeans. Personally, I would stay away from very light washes and definitely from white denim!
3. Pay a little more for a better cut. Designer jeans are expensive, but they usually offer a higher quality fabric and a better cut. You don't have to pay $200 for a pair of jeans, though. You can often find quality jeans on sale. Whatever you do, don't buy cheap denim: they simply won't flatter you.
4. While you shouldn't go for baggy jeans, you should also avoid very tight jeans or skinny jeans. Those will most likely emphasize bulges, create a "muffin top," and make your "problem areas" appear even bigger.
5. Most importantly: buy jeans that fit! Clothes always look best when they fit right, and this is especially true for jeans. If you can't find a pair that fits, buy the best pair you can find, and have them altered. A well-fitting pair of jeans makes a world of difference in your appearance and in your self-confidence.

What to Wear With My Black Skinny Jeans
Black skinny jeans are definitely returning in fashion from the 80's. You can see people wearing them on the street, at a party, or on your workplace. It's no wonder. And they have all made the greatest decision ever for starting to wear those skinny jeans again because they will be easily combined with most clothes out there.
If you are didn't think yet what to wear with your new jeans, you have to know a few things first. It is always good to wear some nice tops which will make you even more attractive. Checkered shirts are a nice start. They are modern tops so you are basically balancing the old fashion, your skinny black jeans, with the modern fashion, your checkered shirt. A good belt along with this combination would look perfectly too!
Wear a simple T-shirt which is V-necked. This tee could be of any color, but the dark colored ones will add more volume to your combination. This T-shirt doesn't have to be too simple though. You can wear one which has a drawing, glitter text or anything that will draw the attention to your combination. You can match these two combination with some nice black or dark brown boots, which can be long too. Wearing these boots will make you look more casual looking. Another great option is to wear high heels. They will make you look taller of course, but you will also look the best on the party you're attending. But in general, pretty much any type of shoes, except for running shoes, will work with skinny jeans. And any color of your shoes will match, so you will look very neat. Make sure to add some small accessories, such as scarves or necklaces, or some cool sunglasses. Congratulations for your new look!

How to Dress Well If You Are Tall and Skinny Man
If you have a thin yet long body frame, and have difficulty look for clothes that is suitable you, this guide is for you. The objective of the following advice is to help thin and tall men to dress better and eventually have more confidence.
Select fitting shirts
Loose-fitting, untucked shirts will billow around you and make you appear as if a plastic bag around a flag pole, so you'll want to choose a more streamlined outfit instead. Even though you should avoid tight-fitting shirts as they will amplify your skinny upper half, do pick slim-fit outfits and pick up how to layer them to buff up more mass. You need to ensure your shirt fits easily around your chest and shoulders.
Skip single color looks
If you dorm a singular color from head to toe (especially black), you'll appear even narrower than you are, so change up your appearance by wearing a couple different colors in your overall outlook. Luckily, testing out with the color palette is interesting and you will get to test with a lot of different outlook.
Pick lighter shades
Lighter colors will make you appear slightly larger, so select whites, creams, light blues, light grays, and pastels to make you appear more meaty.
Do not wear vertical stripes
No woman wants a man who looks like he's withering away, so if you're tall and skinny, pick horizontal stripes to make you appear more meaty. A single, big horizontal stripe across the chest area can be very flattering because it will make your shoulders look broader and will make you appear as though you have a great body. You can also select horizontal glen checks to assist you look a little meatier.
Avoid round-toed shoes
If you're really tall, round toed shoes will make you appear not in proportion. To keep an consistent outlook, buy square-toed or pointy footwear. When it comes to dress shoes and city shoes, finding these styles should be a breeze. A good choice is the suave pointed Italian leather shoes. On the other hand, if you are searching for a running or basketball shoes, they will be much more difficult to find, so just give those that are too round a miss.
Stay away from skinny jeans
The anorexic lady model/'80s rocker look is never a flattering one for a man, so just avoid skinny jeans. Your pants should have a classic cut and should remain basic. A straight-cut or boot-cut jean with a long inseam will complement you best.
Dare to wear pants with different motifs, lines, and patterns because these add volume. one more way to increase volume: experiment with pants with pleats around the pockets. Cuffs can also create the illusion that you have filled out legs, and well-fitted corduroy pants help to yield the "beefed-up" legs look. You could wear with a pair of Italian leather gloves to add a distinct sharpness to your look.

Lose a Jean Size in a Week!
Here's how to lose a jean size in a week or possibly less. I'm not going to ask you to completely torture yourself in the gym or in the kitchen. This only requires small adjustments. You may actually be doing these things, but with the adjustments I'm about to share with you, you're going to get much better and quicker results.
Lose a Jean Size in a Week
1. Do bodyweight squats
Ok, maybe you're doing these or maybe you're doing squats with a barbell. Here's what you want to do to make this a great fat loss exercise. Do these fast... FAST. For beginners, have a goal of say 100 total squats. To get there, do 20-25 squats as fast as you can. Lean a little bit forward while keeping your back straight. You should feel this great in your butt.
Touch the ground when in the lower position. Never cheat this movement by not squatting down far enough.
Try for 4 sets of 25 reps. Rest 45-60 seconds between sets. Total time will be less than 7 minutes. Your legs, lungs, and butt will get most of the benefits from this. Because this creates an oxygen deficit due to it's speed, this is great for burning off fat from your waist, hips, and legs. Do these everyday.
2. Eat eggs often
I hope you didn't buy into the "egg scare" years ago. What nonsense. Eggs are perhaps the best thing you can eat... and they DON'T raise your cholesterol. Eggs are known to have the highest quality protein of all foods. That may be debatable, but just know this. Eggs are good for you and they're great for weight loss.
The best thing to do is eat them in the morning... which is convenient since they're considered a breakfast food. But you may also want to consider eating them at lunch and dinner sometimes. I usually eat 4 meals a day... and 2 of them have eggs in them.
Do these 2 things and there's a good chance you'll be able to lose a jean size in a week.

One of the great products of the boyfriend fashion is the boyfriend jeans. Like any product of the boyfriend fashion trend, this jean too can be worn by your boyfriend as well as yourself. The buzz is that you can steal it from your partner's wardrobe!
Despite the fact that it can rather look to be your man's, it is especially modified to fit women perfectly. It looks so trendy! And so comfortable! It's a loose fit and cuffed at the hems - the traits giving that wonderful impression of comfort. And it's comfortable indeed.
It seem to be a touch bigger than your size but still pretty much rightly fit. It's a perfect wear for casual outings and maybe for some adventure as well. It's a must-have for women who don't like, or feel a little out of sorts, in the skinny varieties of jeans.

How to Look Good in Jeans
Whilst originally designed for working, jeans have become very popular among teenagers starting in the 1950s and growing into today's wardrobe essential.
Probably the most well known brand in denim is Levi, who in the nineteenth century decided to make hard wearing trousers out of sailcloth and rivet them for extra strength and sell them to the miners during the prosperous gold rush period in America. When he ran out of material he looked for another source of hard wearing material to replace the sailcloth. This material was originally called serge de Nimes which was soon shortened to denim and that word remains today.
After World War II, wearing jeans by teenagers was seen as a way of not conforming to the expected dress code of trousers. This was considered disruptive and bizarrely some movie theaters and restaurants refused to admit people wearing blue jeans. During the sixties blue jeans became more acceptable and by the seventies jeans had become accepted fashion clothing.
Stone-washing was introduced in the mid fifties bringing denim to a larger market than the original dark blue jeans and now on average most people have around seven pairs of jeans.
Jeans come in a variety of different styles and designs and choosing is a matter of personal taste but here are our recommendations for differing body shapes...
Wide Leg Jeans
Fitted at the hips whilst flaring from the thigh which is perfect for hiding larger thighs. Wear with heels to lengthen your legs for maximum effect. Suitable for all body styles and great for hiding not-so-perfect legs.
Skinny Flare Jeans
This seasons newest shape - the skinny flare - that flares from the knee downwards. Great for balancing a curvy figure, making your legs look ludicrously long and giving you an elegant outline. If you've avoided denim before then this is the style for you.
Boyfriend Jeans
For the ultimate in comfort head for the boyfriend style with the added bonus of hiding a not so perfect bum and thighs Skinny Jeans Great if you have a slim figure and even better with longer legs. Wear with heels of boots. Gives instant street cred 'cos all the rock chicks wear them.
High Waist Jeans
Because the waist is higher than normal you benefit from a corset like effect so they are good for trimming your stomach and giving the illusion of longer slender legs.
Straight Jeans
Classical shape that never dates. Ensure a snug fit on your hips and thighs and let the denim fall to the floor. Good for larger hips.
Bootcut Jeans
Flattering for those with pert bums! Also flatters and slims your hips. The perfect length for bootcut jeans is just skimming your shoes. Trick everyone into thinking you have supermodel-length legs.

Plus Size Clothing - The Skinny on Horizontal Stripes
I've always been into horizontal stripes. When I was fifteen or sixteen years old, I loved to shop. I still hadn't noticed the shabby selection of clothes available in my size. Or more like, I had yet to realize how that shabby selection of clothing made my body look.
I went to one of the local specialty shops with the intent to buy school clothes. I immediately fell in love with a baggy, scoop-necked t-shirt with thick horizontal stripes in bright colors like orange, turquoise and purple. A saleswoman walked up to me and asked, "Are you really going to buy that? It'll make you look bigger!"
My feelings were hurt, but I bought the shirt anyway. Even then, I didn't believe in such blanket statements. I'll admit that she was right. The shirt was hideous, but that doesn't mean that full-figured women can't wear horizontal stripes. In fact, it turns out my instincts were spot on.
Recent research findings by Dr. Peter Thompson, a visual perception expert at the University of York, confirm that what was fashion fact is now fashion myth. Horizontal stripes actually create an optical illusion that produces a slimming effect. In other words, you + horizontal stripes = hot stuff! But...you still have to know how to make this look work for you. So, here are some tips to help you incorporate it into your wardrobe.
Tip # 1: Pay attention to shape and fit.
Horizontal stripes are slimming. However, if you put horizontal stripes on a potato sack, it still won't be flattering. Plus size women tend to look best in garments that are structured and fitted, but not tight.
Tip # 2: Seek balance.
No one has a perfect figure. Many women are top or bottom heavy. If you're one of them, then you can use this print to create a balanced appearance. Wear the stripes on the larger parts of your body to even out your proportions. I do recommend skirts only for bottom heavy ladies. Horizontally striped pants and shorts tend to look weird unless they are pajamas. Use your best judgment.
Tip #3: Wear thin to medium width stripes.
Thicker stripes tend to look heavy which can make you look heavier as well. This is especially true for petite women. So, leave the chunky ones on the rack.
Tip #4: Limit your colors.
Choose garments with two to three colors. Make four your absolute limit. Typically anything more looks childish. You want to look youthful, but not juvenile.
Tip #5: Add flair with details.
Your whole garment doesn't have to be printed to get the slimming effects. Try adding a striped belt to a dress or solid colored separates. Look for structured tops with detailed cuffs. Don't be afraid to mix it up.

Choosing the Right Pair of Pants for Women
Pants are the second-most important piece of clothing women should be critical in choosing. Oftentimes, we focus more on the label than how it's going to look with our closet space of top wear. Pants, just like any other piece of clothing, should embody not only our craving for fashion, but our sense of utility for it as well.
Pants should always adore our body shape. We shouldn't force a sexy pair of denims if they won't fit our waistline. Women with large thighs, hips and butts, and usually small waistlines to match should avoid wearing tight-fitting jeans. But if you still persist on wearing jeans, allow an inch of fabric for that extra amount of "stretch", allowing you to walk or run with ease. Also, consider wearing darker denim colors, because stone-washed jeans will never compliment those hips. It's also your option to go for stylized jeans like 'flare' (recommended for taller women) or 'slim fit/skinny' (recommended for petite/average size women).
For women with big thighs or hips, the basic rules to remember are:
• Pick pants with higher waistlines.
• Avoid pants that are too tight or too flare-y at the bottom.
• Avoid overly embroidered pants.
• You can experiment with pant colors. But for denims, light-colored is a no-no.
For women with a thinner figure:
• Cropped pants are okay, but make sure you have an overall skinny body profile - not just the legs, but the torso, shoulders and arms as well. Otherwise, you'll have to settle for full-length pants.
• Never wear skinny jeans that exceed your ankles (except if you're wearing platform shoes)
• Choose jeans with lower waistlines.
• Stop looking for jeans that will emphasize your butt.
• Light-colored jeans will accentuate your legs.
And while we're on the subject of height, Capri pants and cargo pants compliment both short and long legs. Cargo pants, crinkle pants, carpenter pants, khakis and navy pants look better on skinny women who have height to show off. Denim pants, on the other hand, when worn by tall women, should instead go for flare or skinny instead of cropped. Pants for petites should be more tight-fitting than loose, to give an illusion of longer legs. Skinny cords, boot cords, denim trousers, and riding leggings are what we would recommend.
Pant colors are as important as the mixing elements: get the mixture right and you've got a solution; flunk the color combination and you're a lab explosion waiting to happen. If you're ditching out on the idea of denim pants and moving on to more colorful substitutes, here are some pointers to remember:
• Unless you're walking the ramp, there's no reason to go for a monotone color from head to toe.
• Highly-saturated pant colors are only hot during the summer. Otherwise, go for breezier colors.
• Leather pants have only one color: black. Otherwise, you're to a rodeo.
• Be the judge of your own fashion. If the colors match, wear it; if they don't, there's always the denim pants lying around.
As a woman, you're bound to do almost everything in life, meaning you should always keep a collection of different pants for different occasions in your closet space.

I Can Fit in My Skinny Jeans
7 Top Skinny Jeans
Have you heard that saying? Everything old is new again. Whether you are reminded of the saccharine sweetness of Sandra Dee in the 50's or the rock 'n' roll grunge of Johnny Rotten in the 80's, skinny jeans will take you back in time and bring you forward to today.
Do not freak out! Yes, it's a skinny jean revolution, but skinny describes the look, not the person. While some skinny jeans are just what you'd expect, only fitting that elite, slim-thighed 11%, there are a lot of options out there. From seriously skinny to almost straight, we've pulled 7 top styles that will give you the latest look. Even if you're body's not-so-slim and not-so-straight, check out our Skinny Scale, this is a trend you may not have to skip.
Here's our skinny scale. We've ranked these jeans from the skinniest skinny to the straight skinny. You decide which you dare to try.
Miss Sixty Eden Skinny Stretch Jeans, $219: Skinniest Skinny
This is the skinniest of the skinny, sexy tight from top to bottom; don't go near this jean unless you're as straight and slim as an arrow. This is a great skinny jean if you have a smaller seat and super slim thighs. Textural pocket details and eye-catching back embroidery bring dimension and interest to the tight sexy fit through the butt. You can rejoice in your thin thighs at last with a jean that was made just for them.
Chip & Pepper Skinny Jeans, $187: Extremely Skinny
Also for the super straight, this Chip & Pepper jean has a slim fit that is not quite as tight as Miss Sixty. A darker wash color and longer leg length make for an extra slim silhouette. Scrunching those extra long legs at the ankle actually has a similar effect to a boot cut, balancing out your shape by adding volume at the bottom.
Siwy Michelle: $182: Seriously Skinny
There's a little more room for your booty in these skinny jeans. They've got super stretch that allows for a close fit and comfortable movement. An upward tilt at the back waist contributes to better seat coverage. Again, a darker wash and a slightly straighter leg works best for curvier women, minimizing hips and thighs for a slim straight look. The extra length that bunches slightly at the shoe is a cool trick that will make anyone's legs look longer.
Levi's 503 Skinny, $25: Still Skinny
This is a great skinny alternative that gives a bit more room through the hip and thigh while still maintaining that skinny vibe. If you have more of a seat and an average thigh, these will fit well and look great on you. Due to their skinny leg, they will enhance your hip curve so you have to keep that in mind. The other nice thing about these is the price. You can afford to dabble in the latest trend even if it's only for a season or two.
J Brand Cigarette Leg, $158: Still Skinny
Clean dark finishes and an absence of embellishment have made J Brand one of the leaders of the skinny jeans trend. This jean has a bit more room through the leg so it doesn't cling to your every curve. A slightly straighter leg like this is a good choice for those of us with larger thighs or more shape through our hips. The straight look is there without the plastered fit. You still have a perfect base for the longer, fuller tops that are such a big part of this trend.
Citizen's of Humanity Ava, $146: Sort of Straight
This great fitting jean has a narrow straight leg that will give you a very slim long look without the tight fit. There is room for a butt and some hip curve in these skinny jeans; you can even have a larger thigh. The leg slims down at the knee and then stays straight for that skinny look you love. Leave it to Citizen's to give you the latest look in a very wearable jean.
Gap Straight Boy Cut Jeans, $58: Straight Skinny
This is not the skin tight skinny jean but this straight style will give you that same slim look. The cut of the Boy Cut jean is very straight, giving your body a long clean line even if you have curves. There is room for a butt and a good amount of coverage at the waist. Gap prices are also very reasonable, making this a fashion trend that you can't afford to pass up.
